Examples of Great Featured European Jewish Composers Murdered in Death Camps
Save The Date
Mark your calendar for our next amazing concert.
Art/music played a significant role for prisoners surviving WWII. We will sing the music which helped these people feel alive, lifted the spirit of humanity, and provided a small sense of normality in an otherwise miserable time of life.
Prior to their murder, many of the greatest European Jewish composers continued to compose even while in these camps. We will sing this music which has been discovered. Even in the darkest chapter of history, people opened their souls through the arts which helped keep them alive and recover.
The concert is in association with the world’s commemoration of the 80th year since the liberation of the German Nazi extermination camp Auschwitz, and the great composers who helped these victims of horror.
